How cool is that?

jaguar-e-typeA man in the UK buys a set of surplus Jaguar E-type parts that were left over after production ended in 1972.  One day it hits him that he has all but a few parts to build a complete car.  So he does.  Now he has a brand new 1972 V-12 E-Type in his drive. Too cool.

So, are you going to start collecting parts? Maybe I should ask what kind of car you are going to piece together?

I’m thinking VW Thing. It’s probably a far more “preacher appropriate” convertible than an E-Type, don’t you think?

…well, at least if YOU built it, then there would be a decent chance it would stay put together! 🙂
