There is too much to write about, and too little time today, so I'll just give a few quick updates, and then hopefully get back here with some things that have been on my mind during the last few weeks.
- First and foremost, thank you to all who have been praying for Wayne, Tanya's brother. On Friday, May 19th, he passed away. His poor body was just too tired and embattled from the long fight. At 36, he leaves behind a wife, Mary Jane, and four fantastic young sons. I'll write more later but right now, I'm still extremely raw. Please keep praying for his family.
- We got back to New York after a long three days of travel (I actually think driving it in one continuous 36-hour chunk is easier). Our home has never felt more like home. Our yard never looked more like a rain forest. It's so good to be home.
- God's people are just incredible. I'll expand later.
- On June 16th I'll post a review of Praying with the Church by Scot McKnight. I just received my copy from the publisher today and it looks like it's going to be along the lines of some things I've been considering myself lately.
