U.S. moves to medal round in men’s curling

The biggest surprise of the Olympics in our household–we’re addicted to the curling events. No offense to people who can find enjoyment in watching Monte Carlos drive in circles, but this was the best sporting event on TV tonight.

USA! USA! USA!

  1. Bill says:

    The thing I like best about the Olympics is the international flavor. You can be joyous for the winners and commmiserate with the losers, all this without regard to the competitor’s nationality.
    All kind of like we part of one family, one people. We may disagree, as families will, but aren’t we actually all from the same seed?
    {Okay, maybe I am an optimist. I do have much to look forward to enjoying because of God’s grace! :-)}

  2. James says:

    Indeed, the world is pleasantly smaller during the Olympics.

    We really enjoyed watching the ’96 Summer Games while we were in Russia. It was fun seeing it from a completely different perspective.
